Itinerary
Day 00: Delhi - Rishikesh ( 254 km l 6 hours l Dehradun 1,466 feet)
  • Meeting Point: Majnu ka Tila at approximately 10:00 p.m.
  • You will reach Rishikesh early in the morning at Nepali Farm. From there, take a shared auto to ISBT Rishikesh, where you'll meet your fellow trekkers.
Day 01: Rishikesh to Lohajung
  • 06:00 AM: Assemble at ISBT Rishikesh.
  • 07:00 AM: Depart from Tapovan, Rishikesh.
  • The journey from Dehradun to Lohajung, the base camp for the Brahmatal trek, takes around 9-10 hours. Lohajung, situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, offers a warm welcome with the majestic Nanda Ghunti Peak and the last rays of the setting sun.
  • Lohajung also serves as the base camp for the renowned Roopkund trek.
  • Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a homestay in Lohajung.
Day 02: Lohajung to Bekaltal( 6 km l 5 hours l Altitude 9690 ft)
  • Rise early, freshen up, have a hearty breakfast, and commence your trek to Bekaltal.
  • Today, you'll get your first glimpse of Mt. Trishul.
  • Bekaltal is a picturesque lake surrounded by dense forests.
  • The trek covers approximately 6 km and will take about 5 hours to complete. Altitude: 9690 ft.
  • Relish your evening amidst the positive vibes of the hills.
  • Enjoy lunch, evening snacks, and dinner at the campsite.
  • Overnight stay at the campsite.
Day 03: Bekaltal to Brahmatal Basecamp 
  • Wake up early, freshen up, have a wholesome breakfast, and start your trek to the Brahmatal Basecamp.
  • The path meanders through thick Oak and Rhododendron forests.
  • It's a 5.5 km trek, taking approximately 5-6 hours to reach Brahmatal.
  • In winter, Brahmatal Lake is frozen.
  • Savor lunch, evening snacks, and dinner at the campsite.
  • Spend the night at the campsite.
Day 04: Brahmatal Basecamp to Summit and Return
  • Get an early start, freshen up, and enjoy a nutritious breakfast.
  • Trek to the summit and descend to Lohajung.
  • At the summit, witness the breathtaking sunrise with views of Himalayan peaks like Mt. Trishul, Mt. Nanda Ghunti, and Mt. Chaukhamb.
  • Relish your descent, reminiscing about your time at the top.
  • Lunch, evening snacks, and dinner at the campsite.
  • Overnight stay at the campsite.
Day 05: Brahmatal Basecamp to Lohajung
  • After breakfast, commence the trek to Lohajung.
  • Begin with a 3-kilometer hike to Janditop, where you can take a break and have a packed lunch.
  • Continue the trek to Lohajung, covering a distance of 7 kilometers downhill.
  • Arrive at Lohajung around 4-5 pm and enjoy evening refreshments.
  • After the trek, we joined the crew for a celebratory gathering. Sharing and reliving the memorable moments from the trek with a cozy bonfire and uplifting music, adding to the overall experience.
  • Spend the night at a homestay in Lohajung.
Day 06: Lohajung to Rishikesh (220 km l 8-9 hours l 1483 ft)
  • Wake up early, freshen up, have a wholesome breakfast, and drive back to Rishikesh.
  • 10:00 PM: Drop at ISBT Rishikesh.
  • The Brahmatal Trek concludes here if you haven't chosen the Rishikesh to stay with the Rafting option.
  • If you have opted for Rishikesh, you'll be dropped at Tapovan, Rishikesh. Your package includes tonight's dinner, tomorrow's breakfast, 16km River Rafting, a cliff jump during Rafting, self-exploration of Rishikesh, Triveni Ghat Ganga Aarti, and return Volvo tickets to Delhi from Nepali Farm. Please note this will be a self-explore day, although our Tour Manager will be available by phone throughout the day.
  • If you have chosen the Delhi to Delhi package, your return bus will depart at 11:00 PM from the Nepali Farm, and you'll have an overnight journey to Delhi, with a 6 AM drop-off.
Day 07: Rishikesh Rafting & Sightseeing
  • Start your day with breakfast.
  • 11:00 AM: Check out and leave your bags at the reception.
  • Embark on a 16 km River Rafting adventure, which will conclude before 1 PM.
  • Later, explore local attractions, cafes, and markets in Rishikesh at your own pace.
  • Visit Triveni Ghat for the Ganga Aarti.
  • 11:00 PM: Catch a bus to Delhi from Nepali Farm.
  • Enjoy an overnight journey to Delhi, with a 6 AM drop-off.
