  • It comprises a high-altitude cold desert, high-altitude snow-capped peaks, and bare stretches of peaks of various colors shaped by the various forces of nature.
  • These Trans Himalayan regions are quite remote with extreme climatic conditions, high-altitude mountain ranges, and impenetrable mountain passes.
  • Despite this, the people of the region have adapted themselves to the conditions and happily live here.
  • This region also has several Buddhist Monasteries (locally called gompas) because Buddhism is practiced majorly by the people of this region who can visit.
  • These monasteries have absolutely serene surroundings and are situated in really pretty locations.
  • The best times to visit this area are from early June to the end of September. It is also fine to travel during the monsoons as it does not rain much here in this region.
  • You will also visit the 1000-year-old lang(temple). Key Monastery: A must-visit tourist place in Spiti Valley, the Key Gompa is encircled by picturesque mountains and soothing valleys. During this trip, you will be visiting the ancient monasteries, which are famous all over the world like Key Monastery, and Tabo Monastery.

Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi to Manali | Overnight Journey  
  • The assembly time for the group at the designated pick-up point is 06:00 PM.
  • Upon arrival, there will be an introduction with the team captains followed by a brief tour session.
  • Subsequently, we will embark on an overnight journey to Manali.
  • The pick-up point is currently tentatively scheduled to be either RK Ashram or Majnu Ka Tila. 
Day 02: Manali Arrival | Self Exploration..
  • We will Reach Manali early in the morning. 
  • Post-check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure. Travelers are advised to indulge in cafe hopping, local sightseeing, and more.
  • You can visit Mall Road, Hadimba Temple, and Old Manali for some good cafes to chill or Vashist Temple for the Hot water spring
  • Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an Overnight stay in Manali. 
Day 03: Manali To Kaza Via Atal Tunnel And Kunzum LA - Stay at Kaza 
  • Early in the morning, breakfast will be served before we embark on our journey to the Valley of the Gods,
  • And We Start Our Journey To Lahaul & Spiti.  
  • Cross over to Lahaul through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel, and witness the terrain transform from lush green valleys to arid brown Deserts. 
  • At 14,931 feet, we cross Kunzum La, another high-altitude pass and the gateway to the Spiti Valley. 
  • We continue our drive through the stunning landscape, reaching Kaza by evening. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel will follow.

Day 04: Visit Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komic, And Langza Overnight Stay at Kaza 
  • Wake up early in the morning and, after having breakfast, head out for sightseeing in the Spiti Valley.
  • Visit the most scenic monastery in the Spiti Valley - the Key Monastery 
  • Next, drive to the highest suspension bridge in Asia - the Chicham Bridge.
  • Visit the iconic villages of Spiti: Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office; Komik, the highest village in the world connected by a motorable road; and Langza, known for its holy Buddha statue.
  • Return to Kaza by evening for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 05: Chandrataal - Sissu Lahual
  • We begin our journey back to Manali. 
  • Let's make one last stop to witness another Spitian wonder - Chandra Taal Lake 
  • Chandratal, one of Himachal Pradesh's most stunning lakes, offers a delightful blend of adventure and unspoiled nature.
  • Later, check into the campsite at Chandratal, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in tents under the mesmerizing gaze of a million stars. 
Day 06: Start your journey back to Manali - Departure to Delhi 
  • Today, we begin our journey back on the Manali-Kaza Road. 
  • We pass through some more stunning landscapes and reach Manali by afternoon. 
  • After some leisure at the cafe, we will depart for Delhi or Chandigarh and expect to arrive by the next morning, carrying with us countless amazing memories to cherish for a lifetime.

  • snow blindness. Sunglasses are mandatory for this trek.

  • compartmentalize things and carry a few extra plastics
  • bags for wet clothes.

Personal Medical Kit

  • backpack. So make sure they are all light and you carry as less as possible.

Health & Safety:

  • Before starting the trek, calculate your BMI (Ideal BMI should be between 18.5 and 24.9)
  • Health and Safety checks mentioned below should be made before getting prepared for the trek
  • A balanced mind and body are the first things that should be given importance before taking off because this is what will bring out the best of you in every condition.
  • Your body should be fit enough to cover the entire trek with the backpacks on your back along with your body weight. That is why proper stamina and strength are needed. Also, trekking is done on uneven multi-terrains and not on smooth paths. So to gain leg strength, perform simple squats.
  • Flexibility is very important when it comes to trekking. Good flexibility will be an advantage while walking on trails, climbing and river crossing, etc. Attain flexibility by simply stretching or doing yoga.
  • As the Himalayan treks are ascending and descending the slopes, you will need a proper transmission of Oxygen from the lungs and heart to the body muscles. For this, trekkers should have good cardiovascular endurance that can be gained by doing cardio exercises like running, swimming, cycling, etc.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
