Kalu Waterfall Trek from Mumbai via Old Malshej Ghat
- Kalu Waterfall Trek from Mumbai follows the scenic Old Malshej Ghat forest trail in the Sahyadri mountains of Maharashtra.
- TrekHievers operates this as a 1-night, 1-day group trek with overnight AC bus transportation from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
- The route passes through dense forest, misty valleys, muddy paths, seasonal streams and changing monsoon landscapes. According to the current itinerary, participants view Kalu Waterfall from approximately 1.5 km away before returning towards Thitbi Village.
- The trek is graded moderate and requires medium endurance because of the long forest walk, slippery terrain, gradual descents and changing monsoon conditions.
- The Mumbai package includes AC bus transportation, breakfast with tea, vegetarian lunch, trek-leader assistance, entry charges and basic first-aid support.
- The trail, viewpoint and operating schedule may change because of heavy rainfall, rising river levels, forest restrictions, road conditions or local safety instructions.
