Day T-1: Mumbai / Pune to Delhi
- Report at Mumbai central station at 08:30 pm
- People from Pune are requested to take a cab to Mumbai.
- The second boarding point is Borivali station for Western line people
Day 00: Delhi - Dehradun ( 254 km l 6 hours l Dehradun 1,466 feet)
- Pick Up Point: Majnu ka Tila around 10:00 pm.
- You will be reaching early morning Dehradun where you will be meeting your fellow trekkers(if any).
Day 01: Dehradun - Sankri/Naugaon
- Report at Dehradun Railway Station at 6 AM
- Distance: 150 KM || 5 to 6 hrs
- Altitude: Dehradun (2,087 ft) to Naugaon (5,100 ft)
- The journey is very scenic, where the drive curves through a dense pine forest. Throughout the journey, you will be traversing the mountains and Yamuna, and the river of Tons which makes the journey a very beautiful experience. On the way, you can halt at a few places to take really good photographs.
- Stay: Sankri/Naugaon (Hotel - 3 or 4 sharing)
Day 02: Naugaon - Sankri - Juda ka Talab aka JKT
- Drive: 70 KM || 2 to 3 hrs
- Trek distance: 4 KM || 5 hrs
- Altitude: Sankri (6,455 ft) to Juda-ka-Talab (9,311 ft)
- 70 KM drive to Sankri, followed by a trek
- We will be passing through dense pine forest, maple trees, natural streams, and beautiful meadows
- Stay: Juda-ka-Talab (Tented - 3 sharing)
Day 03: Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha base camp
- Trek distance: 4 KM || 3 hrs
- Altitude: Juda-ka-Talab (9,311 ft) to Kedarkantha Base (11,253 ft)
- We trek on the ridge under oak trees. We will see the peaks: Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag, and Ranglana stand among the others
- Stay: Kedarkantha base (Tented - 3 sharing)
Day 04: Kedarkantha Base to Kedarkantha Peak Via Hargaon || Back to Juda ka Talab
- Trek distance: 9 KM || 7 hrs
- Drive: 70 KM || 2 to 3 hrs
- Altitude: Kedarkantha Base (11,253 ft) to Kedarkantha peak (12,500 ft); descend to Sankri
- We'll be enjoying the view at the summit and descend back to the base camp by the afternoon for lunch.
- Stay: Sankri/Naugaon (Hotel - 3 or 4 sharing)
Day 05: Drive back to Dehradun
- Distance: 150 KM || 5 to 6 hrs
- We will leave the Homestay after taking a few good photos and we will head back to Dehradun via the same route we came. We will reach Dehradun by 8 PM in the evening.
- You can plan your journey as per that. (For people who opted only for the trek)
- If you have opted for an additional Rishikesh stay, take a sharing cab to Rishikesh from Dehradun.
- Reach the hostel and check-in. Have Dinner.
- Stay: Rishikesh (Hostel 4 - 6 sharing)
Note: If you're not opting for rafting, we will drop you at Dehradun airport/railway station by 2 PM. You can plan the return journey accordingly.
Add on: Rishikesh rafting - 16 KM with Stay, Meals (Dinner and Breakfast), and Cliff jump - Extra 3000/-
Day 6: Rishikesh Rafting & Sightseeing
- Wake up and have breakfast
- Proceed for 16 km River Rafting
- We will complete the rafting activity before 1 PM
- Later self-explore Rishikesh's local sightseeing, Cafes, and market.
- Visit Triveni Ghat for Ganga Arti
- Later take a bus to Delhi at the night
- Travel overnight
Day 07: Delhi - Mumbai
- You will be reaching early morning Delhi.
- Take the train to Mumbai at 04:25 PM
- Travel overnight
Day T+1: Reach Mumbai / Pune
- Reach Mumbai around 02:45 pm
- Take a cab to Pune and reach Pune by 08:00 pm
How to Reach Sankri:
By Air: Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the nearest airport to Sankri which is about 212 km away. From the Airport, you can book a cab for Sankri.
By Rail: The Dehradun railway station is the nearest railway station to Sankri which is 194 km away and is well connected with Delhi, there are plenty of options to pick your train. You can book a taxi from Dehradun Railway station to Sankri.
Note: Book your ticket to the Haridwar railway station because the Dehradun railway station will be closed till Feb 2020.
By Road: Dehradun is well connected to all major cities. Sankri which is about 187 km away from Dehradun will take around 7-8 hours. You can book a cab or take public transport to reach Sankri, it is well connected with Dehradun.
ATM Points and Connectivity:
- The last ATM point to withdraw money in any case of emergency before the trek begins is at Purola. After this, there is no place to find any ATM points. But it’s better to withdraw cash from Dehradun.
- Mobile connectivity is obviously not there in the Himalayas. Purola again is the last spot where you can get a stable mobile signal.

Things to keep in Mind while visiting Kedarkantha:
- The trek difficulty level is moderate.
- The trek is long and would take time, so keep your backpack around 10 kg.
- There are roadblocks and landslides during monsoon so, avoid trekking during those times.
- Do not go alone during long treks.
- The winter season is extremely cold.
