• Spend some time exploring the monastery before continuing towards Dubare.
• Dubare Elephant Camp: Head to Dubare Elephant Camp, located on the banks of the River Cauvery. Experience the serene riverside setting and learn about the elephants at the camp. (Subject to opening)
• Enjoy some time around the river and the surrounding forested landscape. Lunch Break
• Chiklihole Reservoir: Continue towards Chiklihole Reservoir, a peaceful and lesser-known natural attraction surrounded by lush greenery. Take a short break here to enjoy the scenic views and tranquillity.
• Drive to Coorg: Continue your journey through the beautiful coffee-growing region of Coorg.
• If we reach before sunset, we can visit Raja's Seat for sunset

Tip: Pack light, as the trip involves travel between Bangalore, Mysore and Coorg along with multiple sightseeing stops.

Health & Safety

The Mysore–Coorg trip is primarily a sightseeing and leisure tour and does not involve technical trekking. However, travellers should be comfortable with road journeys, moderate walking and an early-morning Mandalpatti jeep safari.

General Safety Guidelines

• Follow instructions given by the Trip Captain, driver or local coordinator.
• Wear comfortable footwear during sightseeing.
• Stay hydrated throughout the journey.
• Carry all required personal and prescribed medicines.
• Travellers prone to motion sickness should carry suitable medication after consulting their doctor.
• Coorg involves hilly and winding roads, so travellers sensitive to long road journeys should plan accordingly.
• Weather in Coorg can change quickly. Carry a light jacket and rain protection when required.
• Stay with the group during sightseeing and scheduled transfers.
• Keep phones, wallets, IDs and other valuables secure.
• Do not cross safety barriers at waterfalls, viewpoints or other attractions.
• Avoid entering restricted or unsafe areas for photographs.
• Follow instructions provided by the local jeep driver during the Mandalpatti safari.
• Travellers with medical conditions that may affect their ability to travel comfortably should consult their doctor before the trip and inform the Trekhievers team in advance.

Mandalpatti Jeep Safari Safety

• The route to Mandalpatti includes rough and uneven terrain.
• Travellers should remain seated while the jeep is moving and follow the driver's safety instructions.
• Pregnant travellers, senior citizens, people with severe back problems or anyone who may be uncomfortable on rough terrain should consult their doctor before participating in the jeep safari.

Important Travel Information – Train Ticket Booking

Train Ticket Booking

• Trekhievers books train tickets through IRCTC-authorised agents.
• Ticket availability and confirmation probability are checked while selecting suitable train options.
• Our team tries to book the option with the best available confirmation probability at the time of booking.

Book Early for Confirmed Tickets

• Train tickets between Mumbai/Pune and Bangalore can sell out quickly, particularly during weekends, long weekends, holidays and peak travel seasons.
• We strongly recommend booking your Mysore–Coorg trip around 60 days before departure to improve the chances of receiving confirmed train tickets.
• Bookings made closer to the departure date have a higher possibility of receiving RAC or waitlisted tickets.

Ticket Confirmation

• Final ticket confirmation is controlled by Indian Railways/IRCTC.
• Trekhievers cannot guarantee that an RAC or waitlisted ticket will convert into a fully confirmed berth.
• Even when a ticket initially has a good confirmation probability, its final status depends on cancellations and seat allocation by Indian Railways.

Alternative Train Options

If the preferred train has low availability, our team may suggest:

• An alternative train
• A different boarding station
• A different train class
• A premium train
• AC sleeper bus or another suitable travel option

If the selected alternative costs more than the original package allocation, the fare difference will be payable by the traveller after approval.

Premium Train Options

• Premium or faster trains may have higher fares than regular services but can sometimes provide better availability and comfort.
• Where suitable, our team may offer these options to travellers.

Train Cancellation, Delay or Route Change

• Train delays, cancellations, diversions, schedule changes and route changes are controlled by Indian Railways and are outside Trekhievers' control.
• If such a situation occurs, our team will assist in finding an alternative wherever possible.
• Any additional fare for an alternative train, bus, flight or other mode of transport will be payable by the traveller.

Changing Your Travel Option

• If you decide to change from train travel to bus, flight or another option after tickets have already been booked, inform the Trekhievers team as early as possible.
• Cancellation and refunds for already-booked railway tickets will be processed according to the applicable Indian Railways/IRCTC cancellation policy.

Important Note

Trekhievers makes every reasonable effort to select suitable travel options and obtain confirmed tickets. However, final railway ticket confirmation and operational decisions remain under the control of Indian Railways.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

NO REFUND SHALL BE MADE WITH RESPECT TO THE INITIAL BOOKING AMOUNT FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS. HOWEVER, IF FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE THEN,

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the trip's start date, 50% of the trip cost will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the trip's start date, 25% of the trip cost will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the trip's start date, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees. No refund will be processed.
• In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
• No show, No Refund.
• Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
• Event Tickets can be transferred to another person without cancellation.
• If we cancel the TRIP, only the TRIP AMOUNT will be refunded.

Trekhievers Policy:

• A complete schedule of the trek will be given to the registered participants 12 Hours prior on WhatsApp.
• Organizers have all the right to modify or change the schedule in case of any unavoidable circumstance.
• The tour is weather-based and depends on the weather conditions. There may be last-minute cancellations if weather conditions deteriorate.
