The fort played a significant role in the Maratha Empire's history and is considered one of the most prominent forts in Maharashtra.

  • 08:40 PM: Pickups from  Navale Bridge, Bengalore Highway, NH4
  • 11:30 PM: Reach Base Village and Start the trek towards Rajgad Post Instructions and Briefing by Trek leaders.
  • 02:00 AM: Reach the top of The Rajgad (Padmavati Machi). Have rest in Camping Tents.
  • 05:00 AM: Wake up Call. Get freshen up and Start The Trek towards Balekilla 
  • 06:30 AM: Witness the Beautiful Sunrise. Do photography. 
  • 07:30 AM: Descend to Padmavati Machi and Have breakfast. 
  • 09:00 AM: Start trek towards Sanjeevani machi. Reach Base Village, Get Freshen up and Have Lunch.
  • 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Reach Sanjeevani Machi and Explore.
  • 11:30 AM: Start descending towards Base.
  • 02:00 PM: Reach Base Village. Get freshen up and have lunch.
  • 04:00 PM: Start return journey to Pune
  • 08:00 PM: Reach Pune. (Arrival Time Depends on Pace of Group and Traffic)
