• Meet the trip team and proceed towards Ooty by road.
• The journey to Ooty takes approximately 3 hours, taking you through the scenic roads leading into the Nilgiri Hills.
• On arrival in Ooty, check in to the hotel and freshen up.
• Visit Ooty Boat House, located beside the picturesque Ooty Lake. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take some time to explore the popular lake destination.
• Later, visit Doddabetta Peak, one of the highest points in the Nilgiri Hills, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
• Return to the hotel and relax after a day of travel and sightseeing.

• After breakfast, begin the day's exploration of Ooty and its surrounding attractions.
• Visit Pykara Waterfall, surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Nilgiris.

• Explore the beautiful Pine Tree Forest, offering a peaceful setting and excellent opportunities for photography.
• Visit a Tea Factory to learn more about the tea-making process and the region's famous tea culture.
• Later, visit a Chocolate Factory and explore the making of locally produced chocolates.
• Return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

• Check out from the hotel and proceed towards the railway station.
• 09:15 AM: Board the famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway Toy Train from Ooty towards Coonoor.
• Enjoy the scenic train journey through the beautiful Nilgiri landscape.
• 10:30 AM: Depart from Coonoor towards Coimbatore by road.
• On reaching Coimbatore, proceed to the Isha Foundation.
• Visit the iconic Adiyogi, surrounded by the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains.
• Spend some time exploring the surroundings before heading to the accommodation.
• Check in and relax after the day's sightseeing.

• Wake up early and get ready for the return journey.
• Proceed to Coimbatore Railway Station.
• 08:50 AM: Board 11014 – CBE LTT Express for the return journey towards Mumbai and Pune.

• The trip concludes as the train continues towards Mumbai and Pune.

Tip: Pack light and carry only what you need, as the trip involves multiple transfers between Coimbatore, Ooty and Coonoor.

Health & Safety:

This is a sightseeing and leisure group tour and does not involve any technical trekking. However, travellers should be comfortable with road journeys, sightseeing and moderate walking.

• Follow the instructions given by the Trip Captain, driver or local coordinator throughout the trip.
• Wear comfortable footwear during sightseeing.
• Stay hydrated, especially during long travel days.
• Carry any personal or prescribed medicines that you may require during the trip.
• If you experience motion sickness on hill roads, we recommend carrying suitable medication after consulting your doctor.
• Ooty and Coonoor may experience sudden weather changes, fog and rain, so carry a light jacket and rain protection.
• Avoid wandering away from the group during sightseeing stops.
• Keep your valuables, phone, wallet and identification documents secure.
• Follow all safety instructions at waterfalls, viewpoints, lakes and other attractions.
• Do not cross safety barriers or enter restricted areas for photographs.
• Travellers with any medical condition that may affect their ability to travel comfortably should consult their doctor before the trip and inform the Trekhievers team in advance.

Toy Train Note

The Ooty–Coonoor Toy Train operates subject to railway schedules, ticket availability, weather conditions and operational changes by Indian Railways. In case the service is cancelled or unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, an alternative arrangement may be made wherever possible.

Important Travel Information – Train Ticket Booking

Train Ticket Booking

• Trekhievers books train tickets through IRCTC-authorised agents.
• Wherever applicable, ticket availability and confirmation probability are checked using railway booking and prediction platforms.
• We try to select train options with the best available confirmation probability based on availability at the time of booking.

Book Early for Confirmed Tickets

• Train tickets on popular routes can sell out quickly, especially during weekends, long weekends, holidays and peak travel seasons.
• We strongly recommend booking your trip around 60 days before departure to significantly improve the chances of receiving confirmed train tickets.
• The closer the booking is made to the departure date, the higher the possibility of receiving an RAC or waitlisted ticket.

Ticket Confirmation

• Train ticket confirmation is controlled entirely by Indian Railways/IRCTC.
• While Trekhievers makes every effort to book tickets with a high probability of confirmation, we cannot guarantee that an RAC or waitlisted ticket will convert into a fully confirmed berth.
• In some cases, an RAC ticket may remain RAC even after chart preparation.

Alternative Train Options

If your preferred train has low availability, our team may suggest:

• A different train
• A different boarding station
• A different travel class
• A premium train
• An alternative travel option

If the alternative option has a higher fare, the fare difference will be payable by the traveller after approval.

Premium Train Options

• Premium trains such as Rajdhani, Duronto or other faster services may have higher fares than regular trains but can sometimes offer better availability and a more comfortable journey.
• If such an option is available, our team may recommend it to you.

Train Cancellation or Route Changes

• Train schedules, cancellations, diversions, delays and route changes are controlled by Indian Railways and are outside Trekhievers' control.
• If a train is cancelled, significantly rescheduled or diverted, our team will assist with available alternatives wherever possible.
• Any additional cost for an alternative train, bus, flight or other transport will be payable by the traveller.

Switching to Another Mode of Transport

• If you wish to change from train travel to a flight, bus or another transport option after your ticket has already been booked, please inform our team as early as possible.
• Train ticket cancellations and refunds will be processed according to the applicable Indian Railways/IRCTC cancellation rules.

Important Note

Trekhievers will always make reasonable efforts to provide the most suitable available travel option. However, train ticket confirmation, railway schedules, cancellations, delays and operational changes are ultimately controlled by Indian Railways.

For the best chance of confirmed train tickets, we recommend booking your trip approximately 60 days before departure.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

NO REFUND SHALL BE MADE WITH RESPECT TO THE INITIAL BOOKING AMOUNT FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS. HOWEVER, IF FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE THEN,

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the trip's start date, 50% of the trip cost will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
• If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the trip's start date, 25% of the trip cost will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
• If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the trip's start date, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees. No refund will be processed.
• In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
• No show, No Refund.
• Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
• Event Tickets can be transferred to another person without cancellation.
• If we cancel the TRIP, only the TRIP AMOUNT will be refunded.

Trekhievers Policy:

• A complete schedule of the trek will be given to the registered participants 12 Hours prior on WhatsApp.
• Organizers have all the right to modify or change the schedule in case of any unavoidable circumstance.
• The tour is weather-based and depends on the weather conditions. There may be last-minute cancellations if weather conditions deteriorate.
