  • Ratangad trek is an easy to moderate level trek. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach the Ratangad fort. You will have a stimulating trekking experience, and it will energize your entire mind and body. There are many routes for trekking to the Ratangad fort, and the most popular is the route from Ratanwadi village. While trekking, you will come across various caves, which visitors use for camping. You can sit with your group inside the caves and enjoy the local food.
  • The trek to Ratangad typically begins from the village of Ratanwadi, which is the base camp for this adventure. Ratanwadi is easily accessible from Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik, making it a convenient starting point for trekkers. The journey to Ratanwadi is an experience in itself, as you traverse winding roads that cut through picturesque rural landscapes. 
  • The trek comprises both an uphill climb and a level walk. The initial ascent is moderately steep, with a well-marked trail. Trekkers will pass through dense forests, crossing several streams, and eventually arrive at a point known as "Ganesh Darwaja," a stone entrance to the fort. From here, the trail becomes more challenging, with steep rock patches, but iron railings are provided to assist climbers.

MUMBAI-

Day 1,

  • Take 11:42 AM Kasara Fast Local 
  • 11:42 AM:CSMT
  • 11:55 AM: Dadar
  • 12:06 PM: Ghatkopar`
  • 12:22 PM: Thane
  • 12:47 PM: Kalyan
  • 01:58 PM: Kasara

  • 02:15 AM: We Board privately booked vehicles and head to Dhaba for Lunch Break after Quick we Move to Ratanwadi, Where we will be commencing our trek. It’ll take approximately 3 hours to reach the village.
  • 06:00 PM: We reach Base Village. Get Freshen up and start the trek towards Ratangad post briefing and instructions by Trekleader.
  • 09:30 PM: Reach Campsite on the top of Ratangad. Tent allotment will be done by Trekleaders. Keep your bags and Get Relaxed.
  • 10:00 PM: Have delicious Dinner (Authentic Local Veg Thali). 
  • 11:00 PM: Enjoy Bornfire and overnight Camping with Buddies

Day 2,

  • 05:00 AM: Wake Up call. Get ready and Start Trek to the Peak. It will 15- 20 mins to reach the peak. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise view , explore the fort 
  • 09:00 AM: Have Breakfast
  • 10:00 PM: Start Descending to base village
  • 01:00 PM: Reach Bae Village, Get Freshen up and have Lunch
  • 02:00 PM: Start Returen journey towards KASARA.
  • 05:00 PM: Reach Kasara. Take Next available Train To Mumbai.
  • 08:00 PM: Reach Mumbai.

 

PUNE-

Saturday,

  • 08:00 AM: Report at Starbucks FC Road ( https://goo.gl/maps/53XNsyDPwcSVReZW9 ) 
  • 08:30 AM: Pickups from Kasarwadi ( https://goo.gl/maps/fpMtVDhNwiFyVdBm6 )
  • 03:00 PM: We reach Base Village and have Lunch. (Kindly have your breakfast in the morning before boarding the bus)
  • 03:30 PM: Gear up, pack your bags and get your Shoes to lace up! It’s gonna be a memorable trail to the top. We will make a few halts on the way where you can grab your snack or a drink.
  • 05:30 PM: Reach Campsite on the top of Kokankada and enjoy the sunset view from Kokankada.
  • 07:00 PM: Get involved in tent pitching activity and learn how to pitch a tent.
  • 09:00 PM: Prepare for a night under the sky and have Delicious Local cuisine for Dinner, let the Arijit Singh in you come out, play a few games, share stories (especially ghost stories), make new friends & enjoy the Bonfire Nights.
  • 11:30 PM: Off to the tents for sound sleep( for those who are very sleepy)

Sunday,

  • 05:00 AM: Wake up and fresh up
  • 05:15 AM: Start our trek to Taramati Peak
  • 06:30 AM: Reach Taramati and watch the sunrise
  • 08:00 AM: Reach Kokankada and have breakfast
  • 08:00 AM- 09:30 AM: Relax and explore fort Kokankada and Harishchandragad
  • 10:30 AM: Start descending via the same route
  • 01:00 PM: Reach base village
  • 01:30 PM: Have lunch 
  • 03:00 PM: Depart for Pune
  • 10:00 PM: Reach Pune (Arrival Time Depends on Pace of Group and Traffic)

Things to carry:

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • 75% refund within 5-7 working days, if notified 8 or more days prior to the event date.
  • 50 % refund within 5-7 working days, if notified 4 to 7 days prior to the event date.
  • No refund, if notified less than 3 days prior to the event date
  • No show No Refund.
  • Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
  • Event Tickets can be transferred to another person against cancellation.
  • If we cancel the trek, only the "Billing Amount" will be refunded, payment gateway fee is non-refundable.

Trekhievers Policy:

  • We strictly follow no alcohol, no drugs, and no litter policy.
  • Seats will be reserved only after full payment.
  • A complete schedule of the trek will be given to the registered participants 12 Hours prior on WhatsApp.
  • Organizers have all the right to modify or change the schedule in case of any unavoidable circumstance.
  • The tour is weather based and depends on the weather conditions. There may be last-minute cancellations if weather conditions deteriorate.
